Description
An antique 15ct yellow gold amethyst and pearl bar brooch. This is an elegant brooch with an amethyst and pearl daisy cluster. The cluster sits in the middle of the bar and has a round amethyst centre stone. This amethyst is mounted in a claw setting and is a rich deep purple colour. Eight round white pearls surround the amethyst forming a lovely flower cluster design. These pearls are each mounted in a yellow gold rubover setting with intricate millgrain detail surrounding the edge of their settings.
The bar of the brooch measures 6.5 cm in length and the cluster measures approximately 1 cm.
The brooch has a yellow gold pin to the reverse and an added safety chain for extra security.
This is a beautiful antique piece which is dated circa 1910-1920. Its classic and delicate design is unique and perfect for anyone who loves antique jewellery.
