Description
An antique 15ct yellow gold diamond and pearl starburst brooch. This exquisite piece showcases a glimmering old-cut diamond centre stone. The diamond is set within the heart of an intricate floral motif, with finely detailed pearl set petals.
Surrounding the diamond and flower centre is a radiating starburst pattern, made of yellow gold. Each ray of the starburst is fully set with small, round white seed pearls. The pearls graduate in size along each ray, with the largest near the centre and smallest at the edges.
Gold bars are placed between each pearl set ray. A pearl is beautifully displayed at the end of each of these bars.
This is a timeless and elegant piece of jewellery. The starburst is a bright and eye-catching design which perfectly displays the diamond and pearls.
There is a gold pin to the reverse of the brooch to fasten it securely. There is also a hook on the back which could allow the piece to be worn as a pendant if it were to have a bale fitted.
