Description
An 18ct yellow gold and platinum Art Deco Navette ring. A unique vintage piece set with 10 old cut diamonds. The setting is marquise shaped, with six diamonds in rubover settings with millgrain edges. There are four pavé set diamonds to the edges of the setting. The shank is made of 18ct yellow gold and the setting is 18ct yellow gold and tipped with platinum.
The approximate total diamond weight of this ring is 0.50ct. This piece is from the Art Deco period, dating circa 1930. The slim shank, intricate metal openwork and millgrain detail are all typical and beautiful features of jewellery from the Art Deco era.
