Description
A gorgeous black agate oval cameo which can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant. The cameo is encased in an 18ct yellow gold frame which has millgrain detail.
The cameo is made from an agate which has been carved into, creating the profile of a woman. The background of the cameo is a grey-blue colour and the portrait is white. The carving shows excellent detail and the portrait of the woman is beautiful. This is a lovely unique piece which shows amazing craftsmanship.
There is a secure pin to the reverse of the piece with a safety catch so that it may be worn as a brooch. There is also a bale at the top meaning that it may also be worn as a pendant. The bale folds away nicely so that it is not seen when worn as a brooch.
The measurements of the piece are 4.2 cm in height (excluding the bale) and 3.3 cm in width.
