Description
A vintage 9ct yellow gold amethyst and seed pearl bar brooch. This unique piece has a beautiful round amethyst stone at its centre. The amethyst is a vibrant and rich purple colour and is surrounded by eight creamy white pearls. The pearls sit at the ends of short gold bars, forming an open daisy cluster style design. Four more pearls are set along the length of the bar.
The amethyst and each pearl is mounted in a bezel, with millgrain edges surrounding the settings. The intricate millgrain pattern adds extra detail to this lovely brooch.
The brooch measures 3.5 cm in length and 1.5 cm in height. The amethyst measures approximately 6 mm in diameter.
