Description
A 9ct yellow gold Art Nouveau garnet lavalier style pendant. A lovely Edwardian piece with openwork and flowing intricate metalwork. A round garnet is mounted in the pendant in a six claw setting with a gold bead above and below it. A second, smaller round garnet is suspended from the pendant in an articulated drop, also mounted in a six claw setting.
This is a unique and delicate piece, the gorgeous yellow gold open metalwork and stunning cherry pink garnets complement each other perfectly. Dating back to the Edwardian era which spanned the years 1901-1910, this pendant would be perfect for somebody who loves antique jewellery.
The pendant measures 4 cm in height (including the bale) and 2.3 cm in width.
