Description
A 15ct yellow gold necklace set with pink topaz, peridot and diamond. This stunning and unique piece has been crafted in a lavalier style, a popular design from the early 20th century. This antique necklace dates back to circa 1915.
The pendant features an intricate yellow gold openwork with a pear-cut peridot at its centre, suspended in an articulated drop. The rest of the pendant is adorned with smaller round peridots, pink topaz stones and diamonds. Each stone is bezel set with millgrain edges for added intricate detail. The topaz stones and peridots are mounted in yellow gold, whilst the diamonds’ settings are tipped with white gold to enhance their white colour and brilliance.
The drop pendant ends with a pear-cut topaz, which hangs gracefully from a diamond attached to a pearl-set chain. The pendant is topped with a yellow gold bale which is also set with an oval topaz. This topaz is attached to pearl-set chain from which the pendant is suspended.
This pendant comes with a unique yellow gold chain, intermittently set with creamy white pearls. This chain perfectly matches the chain within the pendant and sets this eye-catching necklace apart.
The pendant measures approximately 60 mm in length (including the bale) and 28 mm in width.
The chain measures 18″ in length.
