Description
An antique 15ct yellow gold aquamarine and pearl pendant which dates back to circa 1915.
The top of the pendant features a bezel-set round aquamarine stone, surrounded by a yellow gold circle. A 15 mm gold bar connects the top aquamarine to the drop pendant.
The drop showcases a second bezel-set aquamarine, placed at the heart of a gold square shaped frame. Within this frame and surrounding the aquamarine is an elegant and finely detailed filigree scroll design. A white round seed pearl is set at each corner of the square. The pearls are the perfect addition and complement the icy blue colour of the aquamarines beautifully.
Each aquamarine and pearl is surrounded by a millgrain edge, tiny beads of metalwork which add to the intricacy of the piece.
The pendant is fitted to a fine 15ct yellow gold chain which measures 18″ in length.
The pendant measures approximately 48 mm in length and 12 mm in width.
