Description
An Edwardian peridot and pearl pendant made of 15ct yellow gold. This unique pendant is set with six round rich green peridots in rubover settings with millgrain detail. The peridots are separated by gold clover leaves, each set with three round white seed pearls in claw settings. Together, the peridots and clover leaves form an open oval at the centre of which a single peridot is suspended in an articulated drop. The centre peridot is oval cut and also mounted in a rubover setting with millgrain detail.
The bale where the pendant would attach to a chain is set with three seed pearls, adding extra detail to this ornate and intricately designed piece.
The reverse of the pendant is stamped ’15ct’, confirming that it is made of 15ct yellow gold.
The pendant measures 3.5 cm in height (including the bale) and 2.5 cm in width.
