Description
An 18ct yellow gold ruby and diamond ring. This fascinating ring dates back to the Victorian era and was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1884. This is an antique and timeless piece with plenty of history and charm.
This five-stone ring is set with three alternating rubies and two diamonds, mounted in yellow gold settings. The centre ruby is the largest and is flanked by smaller side stones. Each ruby is a vibrant red which is perfectly complemented by the yellow gold. The two old-cut diamonds add a bright sparkle to the piece.
The engraved shoulders of the ring add a touch of elegant detail and highlight the attention to detail, typical of jewellery from the Victorian era.
