An antique 18ct yellow gold ruby and diamond ring.
This fascinating piece dates back to the Edwardian era, circa 1906. It features three rubies and four old-cut diamonds.
The rubies have a gorgeous, deep purple-red colour. The centre ruby is the largest, it is oval cut and mounted in an eight-claw yellow gold setting. The ruby side stones are smaller and are round cut.
Two diamonds sit to each side of the centre ruby. They are pavé set into the mount and add a charming sparkle to the ring.
This ring has glorious decorative shoulders with an intricate scroll motif. This design adds an elegant detail to the antique piece.
