Description
This exquisite antique ring, crafted in 1857, boasts a stunning design featuring three opal cabochons.
The centerpiece showcases the largest opal in a secure claw setting, surrounded by two smaller opals that shimmer with a captivating array of colours, capturing the full spectrum of a rainbow. These opals are beautifully complemented by four rose-cut diamonds, each hand-cut to enhance their brilliance, particularly in candlelight. The rose-cut diamonds, one of the earliest diamond cuts, display triangular facets across the top, resembling delicate, swirling rose petals.
Handcrafted in luxurious 18ct yellow gold, this ring is fully hallmarked in Birmingham, 1857, adding to its historical charm. A true masterpiece of the 19th century, this ring is a perfect combination of antique elegance and fine craftsmanship.
