Description
This fine antique sterling silver Edwardian sugar caster has a plain baluster shaped form onto a circular domed foot.
The plain body of the caster is encircled with a plain applied girdle in addition to an applied moulded border to the rim.
This silver caster retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, embellished with alternating panels of pierced trellis decoration and scrolling stylised leaf designs.
The cover is surmounted with an impressive sterling silver urn shaped finial.
