Description
This fabulous antique Navette ring dates back to Victorian era, circa 1870. The ring is showcasing a 0.25ct lively spring green square emerald displaying its beautiful colour as it rests within a sparkling halo of old cut diamonds. An old cut diamond is a round diamond primarily cut between 1870-1930. These antique diamonds have a special charm because diamond cutters had to relay on their eyes rather than modern technology to hand cut them, making each stone unique. There are a total of eighteen old cut diamonds with approximate total weight of 0.50ct.
The ring is finely handcrafed in 18ct yellow gold with split shoulder detailing. The stones are securely set in bezel and prong settings that enhances the beauty of gemstones. To the reverse the diamonds and emerald are set in open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through for that extra sparkle.
