An antique 18ct yellow gold sapphire and diamond Navette style ring. This is an elegant marquise-shaped ring with three light blue and vibrant sapphire centre stones in claw settings. The sapphires are surrounded by a beautiful cluster of 12 claw-set, old rose-cut diamonds. Each shoulder is also set with a gorgeous sapphire in a three-claw setting.
This is a lovely, intricately designed ring. The decorative shoulders of the ring have intricate scroll detail and the stones are mounted in a pretty basket setting. The old cut stones in their original setting make this a unique and fascinating piece with lots of history.
This ring dates back to the Victorian era which spanned the years 1837-1901. This ring has been hallmarked inside the shank as 18ct, Birmingham 1897.
