Description
A dazzling antique 18ct gold diamond set starburst brooch. A magnificent brooch set with an array of bright, old cut diamonds. The centre stone is in a six-claw setting and is surrounded by rows of beautiful pavé set diamonds. This piece has a yellow gold pin to the reverse which is in perfect condition and a detachable safety chain for added security. Additionally, there is a hook to the reverse of the brooch which means this piece may be worn as a pendant if a bale and chain were to be fitted.
This beautiful brooch dates back to the Victorian era, circa 1910 and has a total diamond weight of approximately 1.50ct.
