Description
An antique 15ct yellow gold seed pearl pendant which can also be worn as a brooch. This beautiful ornamental piece has a cluster of nine pearls at the centre, forming a flower design. The rest of the pendant is formed of intricate yellow gold metal and openwork and is adorned with round white seed pearls of varying sizes. The pendant is suspended from a bale which is also set with three pearls and is detachable if the piece is to be worn as a brooch. To the reverse, there is a secure yellow gold pin so that this may be worn as a brooch. The reverse is also stamped ’15ct’, confirming it is made of 15ct gold.
This fascinating and versatile piece dates back to the Victorian era which spanned the years 1837-1901, meaning it has a lot of history. This is an elegant and unique piece of jewellery.
