Description
This large antique English britannia silver caster has a tapering cylindrical half fluted form onto a domed, gadroon bordered, spreading circular foot.
The caster is fitted with the original hallmarked detachable bayonet style cover.The cover is embellished with pierced decoration and surmounted by a knopped finial.
This large caster is a very fine and impressive example of its type.
This antique caster is a very good gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in excellent condition.
This Victorian caster has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface and cover are very clear.
